Is there really any difference exist between between Information on and information about. Please let me know as soon as possible.

No basic difference in meaning of two two expressions: Information on/about something or someone. But when something is a source of information you can not use "about", as:

I shall try to find the information on the internet.

You can not interchange the underlined "on" with about, in that case the meaning will be different.
