I'd say "Did you face any dilemma when you used that term/ wanted to use that term?"

OR: "Were you in any dilemma when.........?"


Not a teacher....

***NOT a teacher***razer, you are 100% correct. "You faceD the dilemma ." / DID (because the question is in the past) you FACE (the base form -- or the form you look for in the dictionary --is ALWAYS used after do/does/did) the dilemma when you used that term? Thank you.
