aims to achieve the following objectives and goals:
Enhancing the confidence of investors in securities and enable them to track their investments in securities with ease by establishing a central registry to safe-keep the ownership of securities.
Reducing risks related to settlement of trading transactions executed through the Market by implementing by-laws, instructions and procedures that are fair, fast and safe.

Safekeeping, clearing and settlement of securities according to international standards and best practices, improving the level of services, relying on qualified human resources and high technology in addition to adopting excellence culture.

Internationally distinguished organization effectively contributes in enhancing safe and stable investment environment supporting national economy.
Freezing
The owner of securities may freeze the deposited securities owned by him by submitting the freezing securities form. If the freezing restriction is authenticated, no disposal of the securities is permitted in any form, whether by the owner or others. The owner is obligated not to dispose of the securities until the freezing restriction is lifted by the Center by virtue of the Unfreezing Securities Form submitted by the owner.
Private area
This service enables each member to access a special area designated for him to view his information and to request its amendment electronically. The Center member may also view all his violations in order to undertake the necessary measures to rectify such violations to serve the public interest. In addition, such information and data is published on the website on the Internet to enhance transparency and disclosure.
MIS
The platform consists of a number of systems and modules for registration, depository, clearing and settlement and also provides a mechanism for risk management and surveillance of clearing and settlement. Its modules include brokers, issuers, custodians, surveillance and auditing, pledge and website services systems, investment unit system which all together, enable the Center to provide investors with a wide range of services.
The Pledge System enables banks to:
1.Impose pledge restrictions to their benefit on securities owned by their clients
2.Release such pledges directly using the system.
3.Make inquiries regarding transactions of pledge and release of pledge.
4.Inquire on pledge transactions of the pledges clients regarding to stock dividend as a result of capitalization in case the pledge includes stock dividend.

This service enables investors to follow-up their investment portfolios and view their deposited securities’ balances and account transactions statements executed thereto, this service is provided at the level of the investor’s account maintained by his concerned broker.
