Hello Everyone!

I'm working on an artistic project. I would like to find a title which corresponds to the way plants are staged in my picture or room....

I have several ideas but I'm not sure they are suitable!!! (I would like the title to sound a little "poetic"!):

-Plants staging

-Green staging

-Plants layout

-Green layout

-Green show

Thanks a lot for your valuable help!!

I don't know what kind of project it is but usually plants are arranged, not staged.

Thank you. So would you say "plant arrangement" or "green arrangement"?
Thank you

Hi Will17

Just a thought but, if you are considering a bit of "poetic licence", you might consider something such as "greenscape", combining the words green and landscape? - A "landscape gardener" designs the physical features and planting arrangements in a garden.

Thank you very much ROUTE 21.

"A "landscape gardener" designs the physical features and planting arrangements in a garden."=> I have a question: a landscape gardener is a person or features?

Thank you
Will

Hi Will17

To give the designers their official title, if appropriately qualified, they would be called "Landscape Architects". The "landscape gardener/contractor" should really be reserved for the person/contractor that does the actual physical work.

Hope this helps
R21

PS The physical features would be called the landscaping or landscape works.

Landscape gardener = paysagiste.

Hi bhaisahab

Of course! Now why didn't I think of that one?

paysagiste traduction paysagiste définition paysagiste dictionnaire

paysagisten. et adj. paysagiste [peizaʒist] 1. Artiste spécialisé dans la peinture de paysages.
2. Architecte de jardins et de parcs.

Actually, it's shown me that the Free Dictionary works for 15 different languages (including both AME and BrE).

Best regards

Thank you all.

In fact, I knew what a landscape garderner is but I misread Route 21's sentence!! That's why I was confused, silly me!!

Thanks again.
