Is sentence 2 natural?

It is grammatically OK but I'm not sure it's necessary to specify that any mammal has two ears. As far as I know, that's the standard number of ears for mammals.

Now, if you had a rabbit with three long ears, that would be worth mentioning.

I would stick to "Rabbits have long ears".
 
Hear! Hear! is a way of expressing agreement or approval. I dropped the aitches in a not very succesful attempt to be humorous.
