Which one of the following is correct:-

(1) I am sorry that I have missed your call.

(2) I am sorry to have missed your call.

(3) I am sorry that I missed your call.

(4) I am sorry for missing your call.

Thanks!

JY

2-4 are OK for me. I wouldn't use 1.

What is the meaning of the second sentence and how does it differ from the first one?

1 would work as a voicemail greeting. You have "just" missed it, as the caller hears this immediately after you didn't pick up. Any further in the past and it doesn't work because it's a weird combination of past and present.

"to have missed" can be at any time.

I'm sorry to have missed your call yesterday.
It would be a shame to have missed your call. I'm glad I didn't.
