Hello guys, my name is Thomas and I'm from Brazil.
In my native language (Portuguese) when we reffer to actions that were taken we always use Simple Past (as a consequence Present Perfect doesn't exist) and sometimes I get confused about when to use one or the other.
I studied it and know that Present Perfect has the idea of continuity, etc. I studied using two books: English Grammar in Use and Advanced English Grammar in Use from Murphy but I still get confused sometimes and would like to know what book can explain it to me in a detailed way.
Thank you very much.
