I've got a sentence:
My sister often borrows my clothes without permission.

I have to rewrite it using "I wish".

The answer key suggests:
I wish she wouldn't borrow my clothes without permission.
I wish she would stop borrowing my clothes without permission.

Do I have to interpet this sentence only as a desire for a change in someone's behaviour and use "would" after "I wish"?
Or can I simply rewrite it like this:
I wish she didn't borrow my clothes without permission.

You can indeed rewrite it as you suggested.

I think the sentence with 'didn't' is uncommon. More likely - "I wish she didn't keep borrowing my clothes without permission".
The one with 'wouldn't' is far more common is AusE.
