[Vocabulary] Travel wise [means what?]

Hi,

In my book there is written "Travel wise"
I know what "travel" is and I also know what "wise" is. But totally, I can't get what they both mean when used together.
I have taken a picture of the page of the book. If you click here you will see it.

These are my questions:
1. What does Travel Wise mean?
2. The word Wise in the picture is a suffix or adjective or a verb or what?

It means "be wise when you (plan to) travel". As you can read under the title, two (alleged) testimonies explain that they had trouble because one did not read the catalog before going away and the other did not have those products, so the trip was not as "smooth" as it could have been.

-wise can be used as a suffix, meaning that you know about the noun, so if you are travelwise, you don't make the mistakes less prepared or knowledgeable travellers make. Here, they're not using it as a suffix, but as an adverb, with the same meaning.
