Hello
I wonder if this sentence is natural or awkward
"Growing indoor plants has a positive effect in your health"

one more question
"developing your health"
Does it sound natural or awkward?

Please note that a better title should have been "Growing indoor plants has a positive effect in your health".
Dictionaries say the preposition used after "effect" is "on".

Not a teacher.

The first is better with "on". "Developing" would not be helpful there.

Is 'promoting your health' OK?

"Promoting your health" is fine as a phrase, but I doubt that growing plants does that.

That doesn't sound particularly natural either.

Yjn532, remember that thread titles should include some or all of the words/phrases you are querying. A good title for this thread would have been "Growing indoor plants".

I guessed the OP wanted a word different from 'improving', so I asked about 'promoting'.

Not a teacher.

What gave you the idea that the OP wasn't looking for the word "improving"?

The OP is an English teacher, who must have known the word 'improving' long ago.

I am not a teacher.

I think that's a stretch. As an English teacher, the OP should also know to end every sentence with a punctuation mark and to start every sentence with a capital letter but that's clearly not the case either. I wouldn't assume anything.
