[Grammar] A puzzling multiple choice test question

A---of whose price
B---of which the price
C---the price whose
D---the price which

What puzzles me is that I can't find any choice fit.

I would say, ....., the price of which was very reasonable.

But it was not there.

You would be right to say that. None of the given options is acceptable IMO.

I'm with you. Maybe "for which the price" would work, but "of which the price" does not (to my ears).

Well, I was taught 50 years ago that of which the price was fine, so I imagine that's what the test writer wants.

It certainly sounds strange now.
