Hi,
If an acronym ends with '-S', does it have its plural form different to the singular one?
Thanks,
Joe
Can you give us an example please?
For example, GCS - I've thought it up. Let it be the acronym of 'general certificate of studies'.
NOT A TEACHERFor example, GCS - I've thought it up. Let it be the acronym of 'general certificate of studies'.
Not a teacher
This is common:
Acronym Singular: ACS
Acronym Plural: ACSs
The apostrophe is also being used to form possessive forms for acronyms:
Plural: CDs
Possessive Sing: CD's
Possessive Plu.: CDs'
Waiting for a more learned opinion,
