English teacher
Hi.
I’d like to know how students usually address their teachers (from elementary/primary schools to high schools) in the UK and US. Is it still common to use Mr / Mrs / Miss + surname or sir / madam?
Do they ever say, for example, “Teacher, may I go out?”
Thank you very much.
