Is "I am following up on the payment Rs.10,000/- against the invoice I attached in the previous email. Kindly process the payment as soon as possible." grammatically correct?

can I use "against" preposition and "Kindly process the payment as soon as possible" phrase in the sentence?

What does the sentence mean?

Context: Email for the payment followup.
After sending the invoice by email, I am following up with the client on the payment not received yet.

That helps a little bit. However, I don't know what "against the invoice" means.

You might try:

I am following up on the previous email I sent you ....

Are you expressing impatience?

It's understandable, but "for the invoice" is probably better.

We would appreciate if you could let us know the status of our invoice emailed to you on xxx,

Your client would be able to see the previous email if it's in the same series.

"Against the invoice" is standard British business terminology.

The suggestion by @tedmc is close to the phrasing that I would have used in my business life.
