I wrote the following short paragraph when someone asked me why I have so many notebooks with different sentences.
All the sentences that I've been writing down have been corrected by my language advisers on UE. I have copied these sentences not only for future reference, but also in appreciation of the time and effort they have given to helping me.
a) I think the that is optional here. Am I right?
b) Can I use "for future references" in this cotext? Or perhaps the "reference" in the phrase "for future reference" is uncountable?
