Hello,
A. When I left the house, he already had his breakfast.
B. When I left the house, he had had his breakfast.
C. When I left the house, he was having his breakfast.
Do they all work for you? I'm aware of the fact that they do not mean the same thing, just want to know whether they are OK or not.
Thanks.
