an adjective for skin shimmering under the sun?

Hello,

Is there an adjective which means skin shimmering under the sun? Can I use "sun-bathed"?

Does this work?

Her sun-bathed white skin looked good as she sunbathed on the beach.

What other choice do I have? I thought about "sun-kissed" but it is in contrast with the "white" that comes after it, isn't it?

You're right that your version doesn't work. That's not necessarily because "sun-bathed" doesn't fit with "white". It's more that we don't say "sun-bathed skin" at all.

But my emphasis in not on the whiteness. I want to say something or someone is shimmering under the sun and I need an "adjective" for that.

Then you're back to "sun-kissed". At a push, you could use "sun-bronzed" I suppose. Neither of those fit with your original mention of the "white skin". Out of curiosity, why did you include the word "white" in your original?

I included white because I wanted to see if there is an adjective that can be used with white. Something similar to "sun-kissed" but without the connotation that the skin is bronzed. You know, an adjective which means glowing under the sun.

I don't think when one has sunbathed one's skin would still look white. It can either be described as 'sun-kissed' or 'sun-tanned'.

I keep coming back to "glowing". I can assure you that I have tried to come up with an adjective that includes the word "sun" and I have come up with nothing. I am not going to spend any more time on it!
