What does "an inclusive person" mean? Here is the context below.

"Rachael moved reluctantly towards the rest of the guests, but as the game started up again, she did warm up. I was relieved to see that she was finally smiling, and finally laughing – and I was satisfied by this, and somehow proud that David had been so inclusive as to invite a girl to his sixth birthday party, at a time when all of the rest of his friends had a mortal fear of ‘girl’s germs’."

The suggestion is that most boys would only invite other boys to their party. David had chosen to "include" a girl in his party invitation. People who include a variety of other people in their plans, or as their employees, are called "inclusive".
