Hi,

1- There is not enough bread to make a sandwich. (It is OK)
2- There is not any bread to make a sandwich.

3- I don't have enough friends to talk to. (It is OK)
4- I don't have any friends to talk to.

Are all the sentences are possible? I know the sentences with 'enough' are OK, but I would like to know if it is OK to use 'any' in those sentences or not. Does the meaning of the senetnce change if I use 'any'?

Thanks.

Yes, they are all possible. Yes, the meanings change. What do you think the difference might be?

I agree that all 4 are possible. However, I would say "no bread" for number 2.
