[Grammar] Apostrophe In Children's (help?)

Hi folks,

I am currently writing an arrangement (for octet) of (jazz pianist) Chick Corea's composition: Children's Song (No.1).

I wanted, please, to double-check something if I may. Is the apostrophe in the correct place (or should it be after the letter 's' [I don't think so, actually])? Or is it even required (because 'children' is already a plural term!).

Having scoured all of Chick Corea's uploads/Wiki/PDF's/etc online, it does always state Children's Songs as Children's Songs; but as I was saying, I would like to double-check with the experts here. :-D

An apostrophe-S, or just a final apostrophe for regular plural nouns that end in S, makes the noun possessive, not plural. Apostrophes never make a noun plural.

The apostrophe is needed, and it is in the correct place.

Even in the case where I am making an arrangement of just ONE of the pieces from Corea's suite? If you notice (in the screenshot) it reads: Children's Song (No.1) (ie. not Children's Songs).

In other words, what I am checking is if the second word in the title (Song or Songs) has any bearing on the matter?

I've tried to remove it but, even with moderator permissions, I can't. Don't worry about it.
