Hello!
I'm really wondering about whether the 'that clause' in the following sentence is an appositive clause or not.
Strong Rumors abounded that he was murdered by his serfs during a violent argument.
As I know, the verb abound is an intransitive verb and it is impossible that the verb has any object without preposition. Am I right?
Please let me know.
