attach (to this email)

Hi.
Recently, I wrote the following line then wondered whether it was correct or not. Do you think "to this email" is required at the end of the sentence? Or could be removed without any problem as it's implied what it's attached to? (The text + files are sent via email.)

I’m going to attach two of the articles together with some of the other required documents.

Don't put it at the end of the sentence. That would sound strange. If you're going to use it, put it in the middle:

I'm going to attach two of the articles to this email, along with some of the other required documents.
