What’s the Difference Between bay and bark in the context below?

"The dog is barking because it saw another dog".
 
I don't see the word bay in your text. However, to me a bark is short in duration although it may be repeated many times. Baying is of longer duration and borders on howling. Hounds are the kind of dog that bays.

"The dog is barking/baying because it saw another dog."
Note my changes above. Capitalise only the first letter of a sentence, proper nouns and (most) acronyms/initialisms. When you ask us to explain the difference between words, make sure those words appear in your sentence. Mark out the words you're asking about in some way - in my corrections above, I have put quotation marks around them.
