Once, I carved a wooden craft for my friend and gave it to them. When they wrapped it up, they wrote to me, "Did you carve this splendid thingy yourself?" Then I wrote, "Yes, it was carved by me, [personally/Personally]"
I wrote the last word capitalised, as I wanted to express the fact that I myself had carved it in a more emphatic manner. Now, I really want to know if grammatically, I can do that. So, could you say if it's according to any capitalisation rules to capitalise such words in order to give more emphasis?

No.
That isn't done.
Capitalization of of words is according to rigid rules, and "emphasizing a word" isn't one of the uses.

However, advertising, signs, logos, and similar commercial devices often break the rules for effect, and this "artistic license" comes up here.

Paradoxically, using ALL CAPS is a way to emphasized words.
So you can grammatically write:
> "Yes, it was carved by me PERSONALLY.

However, don't use it in this case.
It adds more drama than the idea deserves.

Then I wrote, "Yes, it was carved by me, [personally/Personally]"
Apart from anything else, I wonder why you used the passive voice. Why not "Yes, I personally carved it" or "Yes, I carved it myself"?

You could if you like put "personally" in caps. I wouldn't capitalise just the first letter. But a better way to emphasise it might be to italicise it or (if it's a handwritten note and italicising is difficult) underline it.

What has your thread title got to do with anything here? You've already used it once for another thread.

Bear in mind that "... me personally" is tautologous, and that native speakers rarely repeat most of a closed (Yes/No) question in their response.

Did you carve this splendid thingy?
Yes.

@Sped Tiger please note that I have changed your thread title. Titles should be unique and contain some or all of the words asked about.

I'm not sure what you mean by "wrapped it up" there. Do you mean they unwrapped it? (See below.)

Bob: Did you make this yourself?
Ted: Yes. Yes, I did. I made it myself.

Bob is surprised. And maybe amazed. Ted assures him using repetition that he did indeed make it himself.

You can go through your whole life without using "personally" in a sentence.
