Hi,

What does this sentence mean?

He has come out in spots.

Thanks a lot

Is this sentence idiomatic?

We normally come out in only such things as spots, a rash, bumps, etc.

 When bhai said 'He has...' he was referring to the onset of the rash. So the sequence is: he has clear skin => he is coming out in spots => he has spots.

In AmE we would say that he's "broken out in a rash." We don't use "spots."

What about the verbs that co occur with ouns such as ''pimple'' or ''zit''? Is it correct to say: I have come out in a pimple on my forhead

And if there's only one of it, you just get it: 'I've got a pimple right on the end of my nose.'
