[Grammar] Countable-Uncountable: fashion or fashions

Hello,

Should "fashion" in the following context be countable or uncountable? If both are possible, which would be more natural or which would you say?

a) Women's fashion has changed since WWII.

b) Women's fashions have changed since WWII.

Fashions. There has been more than one fashion since the end of the war.

I agree, but I don't think that the uncountable form is wrong.
