The word "cranky" in line 12 is closest in meaning to ...... .

1. gloomy
2. moody
3. unpleasant
4. unaffected

Would you please share your opinions with me about this tricky question?

I can't read what you have posted.

That said, "cranky" doesn't mean "wordy." Your answer is the best.
 
None of them is close, as you'll know if you have looked the word up in a dictionary.

Yes 5jj. It's a bad question. It drives me crazy. I just wanted to know what the closest answer is from your viewpoints. :)
 
Could you give us the sentence in the text? The image is too small to read.
 
The morning has left you dark and cranky especially when you realize that the rest of the day has much more of the same in store for you. (Would it suffice or your need more sentences?)
 
That's enough. I suppose moody is the closest choice, though it's not a very good fit. If they had something like grumpy, it would be the obvious choice, but here 1,2 & 3 are in the same area of meaning, but not synonyms, and 4 is a distracter.
