What does it mean? How can intelligence have fun?

"Having fun" means doing something purely for the sake of enjoyment. In other words, the creative process is using intelligence to do/make something, not for some material gain or as a result of some obligation, but purely to enjoy the action itself.

What does it mean? How can intelligence have fun?

He was being witty. It wasn't meant to be taken literally.

Productivity is your brain at work. Creativity is your brain at play.

We can apply our brains to solving problems. We call that work.

But what are we doing when we use our brains just for our own amusement? We call that creativity. It's not work. It's fun.
