In Brazil, we imitate dog's bark, saying: au, au, au. How do you pronounce dog's bark? is it the same as in Brazil, or is different?
 
In Brazil, we imitate a dog's bark (no comma here) by saying (no colon here) "au, au, au". How do you pronounce a dog's bark? Is it the same as in Brazil, or is it different?

In the UK, we use "woof, woof". There might be slightly different ways of pronouncing it, but that's how it's written.
 
Wow (no pun intended), I haven't heard that for years! I'd actually forgotten it completely.

There is often very little consistency over animal noises in many cultures. Roosters probably have greater variation than dogs barking. Cats are fairly consistent.
 
Well, the dogs were chasing horse-drawn omnibuses when I was your age.

I thought they were dying of the plague in them thar days. ;-)
 
And "Arf, arf!" and "Yap, yap, yap!"
 
'Woof' as in 'wood', not as in 'roof'.
And cats go 'miao' or 'meow' - pronounced the same.
