Hello.
Could you please tell me if the following sentences are correct?

1) Thanks to working day and night for a week, they finally achieved their goal.
2) Owing to getting up late, Tom missed the first train.
3) Due to being polite, Lisa promised to go to Joe’s party.
-By an unqualified English teacher

1) Thanks to working day and night for a week, they finally achieved their goal.
That's possible.

2) Owing to getting up late, Tom missed the first train.
That's awkward and unnatural. Say: "Because he got up late, Tom missed the first train".

3) Due to being polite, Lisa promised to go to Joe’s party.
A more natural version would be: "Being polite, Lisa promised to go to Joe's party".

I might start #3 with something like "Purely out of politeness".
