I'm not sure where to start. I think you're trying to say "The Apple team was eliminated by another team in the football competition". If that's the case, you can see two errors immediately:
1) You omitted the article at the start.
2) You used the wrong tense form of "to be".

There's some tautology there too. A team can only be eliminated by another team - a team can't eliminate itself, so "by another team" is redundant.

The Apple team was eliminated from the football competition.
The Apple team has been eliminated from the football competition.

It's more natural to use "knocked out of" than "eliminated from".

Hi emsr2d2,

My last question from this thread,
Why do not use present tense here? Is it wrongly to explain?

Hi emsr2d2.

My last question [STRIKE]from[/STRIKE] for/in this thread.
Why do we not use the present tense here?

Is it wrongly to explain? This makes no sense at all. Please try to write it in a different way.

A newspaper report might use the present tense (they frequently do) but it's not natural for a normal sentence. Unless you're saying that they get eliminated from football competitions on a regular basis, it's wrong. The elimination has clearly already happened so you need a past tense.

Polyester,

A long time ago I asked you to start reading books or stories in English. Doing this will help you learn. Start with very simple material.

You can ask the teachers here to suggest some suitable reading matter in a new thread.

Hi emsr2d2,

About my last question in this thread, why should I not use the present tense here? Explain why it is wrong.
We can't know who won until the game is over. So the othe team beat Apple in the past.

The Apple team was beaten by the other team in the football game/match.

Now it is.

It's grammatical but it loses the entire idea of elimination. A team can lose to another team without being eliminated from the whole competition.

I have bought the two grammar books in the book store.

Grammar in use for essential
https://www.amazon.com/Essential-Gr...rammar+in+use+essential&qid=1591449590&sr=8-1

Grammar in use

I also do the reading, for example read children story books. Can you recommend other story books for me?

I suggest you start a new thread with a title like "Reading suggestions". Tell us a little about what you're interested in and ask members to suggest elementary-level reading matter.

That shows how many games I've ever watched . . . .
