Every available officer will be assigned to the investigation/ Every officer available will be assigned to the investigation.
Does the change in the placement of "available" make the sentence incorrect? The first example is from the online Cambridge dictionary, but I heard that one can also put availavle AFTER the noun.

No, it doesn't make it incorrect and it doesn't change the meaning in a very important way. I feel the latter to be slightly more emphatic.
