Could you explain what find" means in football?

You've got so much great context there, Kontol, that it's hard to believe the meaning isn't very obvious. What do you think it means?

From the context, I think "find" means to reach or to put the ball into the net in these examples.

To find a player means to find a teammate with a pass, whilst "find the net" means score a goal. As for "find the bottom corner", I think it means thse same thing as "find the net, or perhaps this has more information how the goal is scored?
