The author appears to call the process of focusing antibody responses to something as the process of sharpening the focus of antibody responses.

Am I correct?

Sharpening the focus of anti-RSV antibodies

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a paramyxovirus that infects lung epithelial cells causing potentially severe infections in young children, the elderly, and the immunocompromised. Although an effective RSV vaccine remains a major unmet medical need, previous work has identified a stabilized pre-F conformation of the RSV fusion (F) protein as a preferred immunogen for eliciting neutralizing antibodies.

I don't understand the question.

Are you having trouble understanding what sharpening the focus means?

Imagine looking at something with a microscope. At first it looks blurry, so you turn the dial to bring the image into focus. Now you can fine-tune the image to bring it into sharp focus. You've sharpened the focus.
