Sometimes you need to make fun of the people who are too tall.

In my language, we have a term that is used to make fun of tall people. For example we want to take a picture and a tall person stands in front. We say something like this:

Look at that giraffe! He is blocking all of us.

I know that vertically challenged is a funny and sometimes euphemistic way of referring to someone who is short.

Is there a funny idiom that can be used to refer to someone tall?

*lanky does not fit the bill

Not a teacher.

I've heard some people ask tall people: "Hey, how's the weather up there?"

Thanks

But it's not a way of referring to them.

Daddy looooong legs.

Long drink of water for someone who is both tall and slender.

"Beanpole" is common enough. As the quote suggests, it only works for very skinny people.

Kind of like lanky.

Would useless beanpole work?

Sometimes you need to make fun of [STRIKE]the[/STRIKE] people who are too tall. Too tall for what?
Why do you feel the need to make fun of them?

Would useless beanpole work?
It seems unnecessarily insensitive to add 'useless'. Some tall people resent having their height drawn attention to for no good reason.

Thread closed. Please don't start new threads ridiculing people with other body shapes.
