Please tell me which of the two pair of sentences written below is more appropriate:

Example no 1

1. Our employees are receptive to attending the meeting. OR
2. Our employees are receptive to attend the meeting.

Example no 2

1. I commit myself to attending the meeting. Or
2. I commit myself to attend the meeting.

Though I prefer: Our employees are receptive to the idea of attending the meeting.

I commit myself to attending the meeting.
