Thank you. Are all these expressions they listed there used in modern English instead of "to be in a bad mood"?
1. "Be in an irritable mood".
2. "Get up on the wrong side of the bed".
3. "Get out of the wrong side of the bed".
4. "Get out of bed on the wrong side".
5. "Start the day off on the wrong foot".
6. "Get out on the wrong side of the bed".
7. "Get out the wrong side of the bed".
8. "Get out of bed the wrong way".
9. "Get up with wrong foot foremost".

Yes, except 8. and 9. would not work. And 9. could be a physical situation rather than a disposition, e.g. a twisted ankle.
