good prospects of promotion vs. good prospects for promotion

Hi!

I´m wondering if there is any difference between good pospects of promotion and good prospects for promotion.

I have seen both versions.

There's no difference.

(You use quotation marks in German, too, don't you?)

Thanks for your answer Rover! And yes we do use quotation marks, but only for direct speech not if we are trying to explain something. For example:

Alex said to Clara:" there are good prospects for promotion".

I know, German is a bit of a crazy language ��

You wrote I could use both " of/for" I' m a bit confused because my English teacher gave me a full fault in my exams for writing " good prospects FOR promotion"
 
I actually prefer "for".
