We have nine hours to complete our work. However we have to attend a meeting every day that lasts one hour then we do have to check our yesterday's work as well for errors which takes about two hours so it leaves us with only six hours to work for the present day. So, ultimately we are short of three hours every day to complete our target.

Please check my sentences.

See above. I'm certain we've told you before that you (almost always) need a comma after "However" when it's the first word of a sentence.

then we do have to check
This can work if you're trying to emphasize a point. It's not wrong.
Tufguy: can you think of a sentence starting with "however" in which you do not need a comma after the word "however"?

Can we also say "We have to check our work from two days ago" or "We have to check our work from one week ago"?

Yes.

No. Just use "our work from" and then the time period or day of the week.
