Hello.

In my story, a boy likes a girl, but the girl has no idea. I want to say that because of some hints the girl finds out that he has a crush on her.

Have I used "give the game away" correctly and naturally in these two sentences? What do you think?

1. She has no idea you like her, so don't give the game away. Try to be cool around her.

2. They met after a few months. He didn't say anything about his crush on her, but the tremble in his voice gave the game away. She now knew he had feelings for her.

3. She asked him to dance with her. He was a bit hesitant. When he joined her on the dance floor, his blush gave the game away. She knew something was up and he was not acting normally.

I did.

Could you please tell me about the three sentences I have written?
