Are these sentences incorrect? (Are there any alternatives?)

Honestly, I don't like to separate my family members into the closest or farthest person to me. I adore each of them.
Honestly, I don't like to divide my family members into the closest or most distant person to me. I adore each of them.
 
Try:

I really don't want to play favorites.
 
Try:

I really don't want to play favorites.
And I have another one:
Honestly, I don't like to distinguish my family members by the closeness of our bonds. I adore every one of them equally.
 
Honestly, I don't favour any of my family members more than others. I love/adore them all equally.

Please note that in post #2 I didn't use anything in your versions. (In post #4 Ted used a little of your sentence, but not that much.) Please note what we put in our sentences but also what we left out.
