Dear teacher and friends, I would like to know how to delegate a task to a team member in a polite way. There are a few sentences that people always use, but I’m not sure if they are correct or not. Feel free to add any sentences if you find it appropriate.

None of those sentences sounds natural.

Whenever you ask somebody to do something, as long as you include please, your request will be polite.

Rover, did you mean to say that none sound unnatural? I find them all okay except the last one, which sounds a bit odd.

The one that's different is the one that says "assist." The person who gets that might not know that it's up to them take care of it, and just wait for somoene else to ask.

My intern is back for the holidays. I routinely send her stuff that says "Can you take care of this for X, please?"
