I have heard people using both sentences. Which one is grammatically correct?

1- I am good in English.
1- I am good at English.

They're both possible.

Sentence 1 means "I am well-behaved when I am in my English class".
Sentence 2 means "My English language level is good" or "I am proficient at speaking/writing English".

I'm sure some people will disagree with my interpretation of sentence 1.

So, those who are "good at English" aren't well-behaved, but proficient only?:-D

I would take the first to mean that they do well in classes and the second to mean that they do well in general.
