Hello.

I want to suggest a person was trying to make a decision and they could feel others were speaking to him.

Are these correct and natural?

1. I was torn whether to forgive her or not. I could hear a million conflicting voices in my head. My vindictive father was telling me to get even, my mom telling me to forgive and move on.

2. With each decision I wanted to make I felt like my head was full of conflicting voices telling me what to do.

How can I make them better?

Hello.

I want to describe a person was trying to make a decision and [STRIKE]they[/STRIKE] could hear others [STRIKE]were[/STRIKE] speaking to him.

Are these correct and natural?

1. I was torn about whether to forgive her or not. I could hear a million conflicting voices in my head. My vindictive father was telling me to get even, my mom was telling me to forgive and move on.

2. With each decision I wanted to make I felt like my head was full of conflicting voices telling me what to do.

There!

I think it is better to say "torn between A and B" rather than "about whether" and using the infinitives.

I like that better, too.

How about and my mom?

Charlie, I think you need to take another look at your edit in post #2: "I want to describe a person was trying to make a decision ...".
