hello,

i am just wondering if i talk about very very recent event, so should i use simple past tense or present tense

E.G, I just woke up.

or i just wake up.

or i can use both of them to express my condition?

Think about it this way: an event that happened even 1 second ago is no longer in the present. The present tense carries a different meaning. For example, I wake up at 8 every morning (this means it happens every day).
