Hi,

"I am looking for someone the same age of mine to talk to practice my speaking." Is this correct to say?

'I am looking for someone of my own age to practise speaking with.'

Welcome to the forum.

Your suggestion is not correct. It is almost identical to the OP's sentence, including the question at the end. All you did was change "my speaking" to "speaking with me". If you read post #2, you will see that we already explained that the beginning of the sentence is not correct.

'He is the same age as me' 'He is at the same age of mine' Both are okay?

Sorry, I meant 'He is at the same age of my own age'. By the way, how do I use 'the same age as me' in a context?

"I am looking for someone the same age as me to practice speaking English with."

"He is at the same age of my own age" is incorrect.

'He is at my age so we both are at the same age.' How about this?

NO!

There are two, and only two, truly natural ways to say this:

1. He is the same age as me.
2. He is my age.
