Hello everyone!

I am not sure which tense I should use in this sentence: I (wait) at the station for 20 minutes last night.
This ‘last night’ confuses me. Otherwise I would use Present Perfect Continuous.

Welcome to the forum, maramarija. :hi:

The past continuous or the past simple are both possible, depending on what you're trying to say. What context do you want to say this in?

You can use here the past simple or the past continuous.

Yet again I've mangled my tense names. Of course I was thinking of the past continuous in post #2. I have no idea why I wrote "present perfect continuous". Sorry.

Yes, but I didn't see that one, so your post looked fine to me.
