Let's say you're wandering around a city and as a result of your wandering, you end up in a specific place. How can that be expressed? I know this is not natural. What's a better way to express it?

I wandered about Manhattan and my wander took me to Empire State.

My wander around Manhattan took me to the Empire State Building.
Thank you! If I want to use another word instead of "wander" what can I use?

I was wandering around Manhattan and I landed up/ended up at the Empire State Building.

I was roaming around Manhattan.
I was walking around Manhattan.

I meant "wander" as noun.

My wander around Manhattan took me to the Empire State Building.

Can I use "stroll"?

My stroll around Manhattan took me to the Empire State Building.

I was exploring Manhattan on foot when I chanced upon the Empire State Building.

"Strolling" is taking a leisurely walk, especially in a park, not so much for looking at places.

Is this correct and does it sound natural to natives?

I was exploring Manhattan on foot when I chanced upon the Empire Stare Building.

I don't think one can "chance upon" what was the world's tallest building for 40 years.

What if it's a less known place?

Is this okay?

I was exploring Manhattan on foot when I chanced upon a small and beautiful park I'd never heard of.

Why not? "Chance upon" simply means to find something by accident/unexpectedly, which can be anything including prominent landmarks.

I don't have a problem with "stroll" as long as you were indeed walking slowly.
