Hello.

If the dry film thickness exceeds 300 µm, then application of paint A followed by topcoat X may proceed without any additional epoxy application.

I would like to ensure that I got the sentence right.
If the dry film thickness exceeds 300 µm, then you may apply paint A, after which/upon which topcoat X is put on, without any additional epoxy application.
Am I far from the truth?
Thank you.

The only change I would make to the first example would to add "the" before "application".

The second sentence is fine as it is.
