Which do you use more, 1 or 2?
36)
1. I'm taking psychology.
2. I'm hearing psychology.

I've never heard #2.

If you're studying psychology at university, you can say 'I'm reading psychology'.

In AmE, we don't use "reading" in that way. If one is registered in a psychology course, one is taking psychology; if one is pursuing a degree in psychology, one is majoring in psychology.

I've heard "I'm hearing a certain lecture" that compose your total credit in a semester, and such lectures could be composition, English, Psychology, etc. Maybe I'm mistaken.

I have not heard "hearing" in that use.
